Kinder Bueno: European History and Popular Facts

Kinder Bueno is an Italian confectionary maker's top selling chocolate bar. It has been around since 1950. The chocolate bar is made from real hazelnut and chocolate. This means that you can have all the taste of Italy in a bar without having to eat Italian food!

Kinder Bueno, apart from the regular chocolate bar is also a wafer-stuffed hazelnut chocolate bar with a soft chocolate topping. It comes in packages of two, three, four, six, ten, and twelve. There is also a kinder version called Kinder Egg which is the equivalent of a regular egg but with the addition of nuts and a hazelnut filling. The history of Kinder Bueno goes back many years to the year 1955, when a young Reinhold Voll, was traveling in North Africa and stopped at a small village called Kinderhook. He purchased some local chocolates which were made of sugar and sent them back to his home in Italy. After a few years in Italy he opened a confectionery shop in Kinderhook and named it after his little shop. When he decided to launch his brand line of Italian confectioneries in America, he named it after the town where he had started his business.

Since the original wafer had no taste of chocolate, Voll's replacement, the hazelnut filling, provided an alternative to people who were not able to tolerate the taste of chocolate. Kinder Bueno became a hit and became one of the most popular chocolate wafers on the American market. The first German chocolate wafers appeared in a New York grocery store. They turned out to be so delicious that people were willing to pay more for them.

Since Voll's creation, several other chocolate makers have attempted to create a chocolate wafer that has a milky taste to it. However, this failed to keep consumers from buying them. The next wafer that came onto the market, called Kinder Egg, turned out to have a very mild chocolate flavor. This caused more disappointment with people who were not able to tolerate the bland taste of chocolate. Since that time, there has only been a single chocolate wafer that has received a true milky taste to it and that was the Kinder Egg by Mars Inc.

Today, the Kinder Bueno products are only available in the United States, but they are gaining in popularity throughout Europe. There is even a television series on the channel that offers people recipes for this extremely creamy chocolate. These products are not only consumed as a dessert, but they are also combined with other ingredients and used in other desserts. For instance, it is often combined with whipped cream and lemon to make a very desert like a milkshake. It is also mixed with espresso or other coffee flavors to make a cappuccino.

One of the most popular versions of the Kinder Bueno comes in the form of a milkshake. As the name would imply, it is created by combining milk and chocolate. Usually it contains an additional cream or milk-based beverage added to it to help it achieve the full bodied feel. It can come with a nice white chocolate filling that is covered in a cream cheese frosting. In addition, it may also contain an assortment of fruits such as cherries, strawberries, and pineapples. Often, a Nutella-like cereal is included in the serving.

Another version of this famous drink that made its way into early Americas is called the KinderEgg. Like the original, it contains milk and chocolate, but this time, hazelnut cream inside the shell. It first marketed in the Basque region of France, although it was eventually shipped to other parts of Europe including Scandinavia and Germany. When it was finally introduced to the United States, it became known as Kinder Egg by German Americans.
